Ear Case 3 Skin transplant

Patient with painfull kerato Acanthoma on the left antihelix growing for 6 months. Squamous cell carcinoma should be excluded.

Step 1: Pre operative photo

Kerato acanthoma on the left antihelix.

The tumor was excised in 5 mm margins including chondral parts.

Step 3: Excision

The posterior skin on the ear was spared. A full thickness skin transplant in the right size was then harvested.

The transplant was fixated with gauze wetted in oil.

The gauze is to be removed in 5-7 days.
